Thanks for your feedback. Now that I've got Windows 10 installed my Lifecam setup is useless. God knows what other hardware isn't "compatible. I'm not a computer engineer. I just want my stuff to work when I need it. Microsoft has never understood this.

LifeCam VX is not compatible with Windows Try to install the drivers in the compatibility mode and check if it helps. FYI: I just ran the windows 7 installer found here no special compatibility mode on Windows 10 and it worked for me. I did uncheck the "install windows live essentials" option to just get the driver. I left the "install windows life essentials" checked. Video and audio works fine. Thanks for the tip. My old Lifecam 1. I recently had to buy a new PC with bit Windows Pro , and when I tried to install the LifeCam again just got a message to the effect that my PC doesn't support this app. V annoying! Is the change from bit to bit blocking the installation? The suggestion above shows how to run this LifeCam software in compatibility mode, but not sure which other version to choose: Vista, 8, 8.

If I try to do this on a PC which has never had anything but W installed, is it going to screw things up? Tried the link, tried the installation CD with every OS listed, but with no success. No software listed for LifeCam 1. Haven't tried it for audio yet. OK, the cam was a gift some years ago, but it worked until very recently on Windows 10 bit; feeling angry that Microsoft hasn't produced a software update to keep their equipment running on bit am not alone in this!

Como instalar os drivers. Now, it doesn't work at all. No amount of research on the net or through YouTube has offered up any effective fix to the issue. My research shows just the opposite. In short, I do not believe that the Microsoft Windows team even takes into account any of its other partnered Microsoft operations teams. You guys are out of control. I'm just about ready to look to Apple for my future purchases.
